Tahini with Broccoli Dip

An great way to use Tahini. Serve at a party or have it as a healthy snack with some raw veggies to dip in it!


Ingredients:


  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Macedonia Tahini with Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • water

Directions:


  1. Steam broccoli for 10-15 minutes until tender. Check often to ensure it does not overcook. Once tender, drain in colander. Set aside.
  2. Mix garlic, cumin, lemon juice, cayenne, and tahini in medium bowl. Add salt and pepper. Add a tablespoon of water until desired consistency. Should be smooth and creamy.
  3. Add broccoli to sauce and stir, or serve broccoli as a dipping food. Or serve with raw veggies or pieces of bread.
  4. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate.
